A quick spearfishing trip where most of my gear completely malfunctioned, but I still got to get a 1.5kg yellow mouth barracuda at the depth of 16m with a borrowed spear gun - which will be a great memory - it was my first time I caught this fish

An unexpected foodie destination with all the best things of Europe and North America with almost no downsides in one place. Very memorable dumplings at Le Petit Coin Dumpling, amazing food at Maison Publique (an oyster the size of my palm), great seafood at Le Majestique and tartares at Hachoire. Weekly hikes to Mt. Royal, a quick weekend trip to Quebec City to get a feel for Canadian trains. Sadly we caught covid here as well 🤷‍♂️

Lots of time spent up in Lake Tahoe, some diving, started wake-boarding and driving the boat so others could water ski, some hikes (I found mushrooms in this arid area), climbing at Owl Rock and Big Chief crags and some indoor in Mesa Rim where I also got lead climbing certified

Sadly we left town before the masquerade/carnival started the next morning. Not sure if I'd recommend it for a long stay, but a day visit has some sights and restaurants to offer
