Mario Ambassador is the brand ambassador role conferred by Nintendo to Charles Martinet following his retirement as voice actor for Mario series. The role entails interacting with fans, signing autographs, and performing the voices of Mario characters at events around the world. Martinet's transition to the Mario Ambassador role was officially announced on Twitter on August 21, 2023 and the role would later be elaborated upon in a video released on September 7, 2023, in which Martinet himself expresses enthusiasm at the prospect of meeting Mario fans all over the world at future events.
