Latios(JPJapanese: ラティオス
Romaji: Latios) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Dragon/Psychic legendary Pokémon that made its first appearance in Pokémon Heroes: Latios and Latias and later in the third generation games Ruby and Sapphire. It is a part of the Eon Pokémon with Latias. It can Mega Evolve when holding Latiosite.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team : Latios is the boss of Northern Range, having fled there after stealing from the Kecleon Shop in Pokémon Square.
Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon : Latios is a minor character in the game and briefly appears alongside Latias where they are being chased. They are later turned to stone and their bodies fall to the ground.

Latios and Latias in Pokémon Heroes: Latios and Latias
Latios, along with Latias, have a starring role in the movie Pokémon Heroes: Latios and Latias as guardians of Alto Mare, a city modeled after Venice, Italy. At the end of the film, Latios sacrifices himself to protect Alto Mare from a tremendous tidal wave.
