"Over a few beers one night I decided that I was going to ride a motorcycle the length of Africa. I handed in my notice the next morning. Bought a bike at lunch time. Passed my test 6 weeks later and 6 weeks after that I was sitting at the edge of the Sahara thinking, "Sam you idiot. You have no idea what you are doing!"
