The short was released on the Discovery Family GO! app on March 24, 2018, and uploaded to the Hasbro YouTube channel on July 6, 2018. It is performed by Applejack. It is a slight parody of the Dolly Parton song of a similar name.

A "DJ Pon-3's Version" remix, with new vocals, serves as the fourth track on the DJ Pon-3 Presents: The Remixes Vol. 5 remix album.

Animated short summary[ ]

In this musical short, Applejack wakes up before the roosters start crowing and does her daily chores: cleaning the house, watering the plants, feeding the chickens, etc. Afterward, she cleans and decorates the barn for a hoedown with her friends that night. At the end of the song, Applejack falls asleep from her hard day's work.
