Thank you, now I see... Some time ago, this was done (manually) when assigning temp flags!

For this edit
Thanks, I had named the proposal that way because I was afraid of it breaking on the main Closing Projects Proposal page, and I didn't know how to modify the template for it. But now it's clearer what I had originally intended to do. TeleComNasSprVen ([]) 23:38, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
:I see; I already thought that maybe could have been the reason for the naming of the proposal. Regards --<small>MF-W</small> 23:40, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

There is a content dispute here (and on my talk). PiRSquared17 ([]) 22:36, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
:There is no content dispute. There was a massive copy-edit to a policy page, asserted to be improving the language, complicated enough that reviewing it wasn't quick, and such an edit should be approved by the community, according to the page itself. I acted to ensure that review would take place. It has, quickly and easily. Unless someone objects, it's done. The user who made the changes was upset at my acting to require a review, that's all. --Abd ([])
::Could you comment further on my proposed change to clarify the lede of the policy page? English's syntactic ambiguity allowed it to be interpreted two different ways, and I unfortunately picked the wrong interpretation. That is, "maximum inactivity time without community review of two years" means no local community review for two years during the maximum inactivity time, according to some native English interpretations. == Translation updated ==

Hi, there was a wrong year in the Finnish translation at Special:CentralNoticeBanners/edit/stew2014vote. I translated it from 2013 to 2014, but is it automatically updated or do you need to manually update the banner? --Stryn ([]) 18:27, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
:To be honest I have no idea how CN works. The special page you link to tells me Finnish belongs to the "accepted translations", so probably it should be ok. I bet User:PiRSquared17 knows more. --<small>MF-W</small> 21:45, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
::Snowolf already fixed it (this was one of his anyway, I only did the ones before "c" and the non-Latin ones). FYI: only admins can set the translation status for CNBanners to "Published", and doing so automatically modifies the MediaWiki message for the banner. == Why do you stay CU on LoginWiki? ==

All other stewards apart from you and three others only set themselves as checkuser when actually checking something. Constantly keeping glasses that can see people naked on makes people feel uncomfortable, you know. If only there was a way to see the checkuser log, but no. Why is the <tt>checkuser-log</tt> privilege limited for CU only, anyway? It doesn't show anything private, unless you check a specific IP, but those are revealed anyway if you choose to block, and can't be connected to accounts any more than when blocking someone and locking their accounts. InnateNatureOfReality ([]) 16:24, 23 February 2014 (UTC)<br>
:I think you have some misconceptions about CU. CU does not reveal any naked pictures of people, just their IPs. Also just because some people have the CU rights all the time, while others can give them to themselves all the time, does not mean that they constantly CU someone. It's the same with local CUs, do you also feel like they are watching you naked? &mdash; It was not my decision to not make the checkuser log public, but it does contain private information in the following sense: If someone checks a user, and immediately after that an IP or IP range, it's clear that the IP belongs to the user. And that would then even be visible when the IP would not be blocked, because e.g. it turned out in the CU investigation that the checked account had no reprehensible things. For transparency btw, it was my idea to create the statistics for loginwiki. --<small>MF-W</small> 20:33, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
Also, I get that you guys discuss blocks/locks on IRC and tell Warburg/Billinghurst/etc to secretly CU on loginwiki. I do not like that at all. It is horrible. InnateNatureOfReality ([]) 16:26, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
:Please go elsewhere if you want to spread ridiculous conspiracy theories. Who are "you guys" supposed to be, and why do you talk to them on my talk page? And how is it more secret if I or Billinghurst checkuser someone on loginwiki than if someone else makes himself a CU on loginwiki with the reason "abuse", CUs, and then removes the right again? --<small>MF-W</small> 20:33, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
::You are a god. InnateNatureOfReality ([]) 22:17, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Deletion of Serbo-Croat Wikipedia
Hello. As proponent of initiative to close SH Wikipedia I would like to say some things regarding the fact that proposal is rejected. I refuse to understand why forbid and protect discussion after the first day its started. You can't say the first day that something is obviously. Users who discussed there are well organized users who came from sh.wiki, so their reaction can't represent something obviously for the whole Meta community. Proposal for the deletion besides closing project is something that rules allows and pointing at that when you are about to start the proposal, not my exaggeration. There isn't any of day-to-day local problem you mentioned in explanation, you know that problem with that language and project is something else, not that simple as your response. This is only my comment, it should not be treated as some kind of formal appeal to decision. I don't want any new discussion under this circumstances. --Жељко Тодоровић ([]) 16:05, 27 February 2014 (UTC) с. р.
:I'm sorry that you feel this way, but still I don't think that a longer time for the discussion would have led to any result in favour of deletion; as it "came out of nowhere". Therefore I closed it per the following sentence from the policy: However, in the event that a LangCom member considers a discussion harmful, with no reasonable possibility of a decision to close the wiki, the member may close the discussion immediately. --<small>MF-W</small> 22:57, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

:Please just start a new discussion. Even if nobody will reply/vote on it, you can nevertheless be granted a new temporary adminship.
:Last time you were given temporary adminship because for permanent adminship, a certain size of the community should be there. There is no hard limit for that. --<small>MF-W</small> 22:54, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Request for feedback on my GSoC'14 proposal
Hi MF-Warburg,

I am planning to work on the project titled "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content" this summer under Google Summer of Code. I have drafted a proposal for the same over the past few weeks. This project is going to help the translation adminstrators like you in a great way, as it would completely automate the tedious manual task of preparing a page for translation and then importing the translations into the Translate extension. You can check the proposal page for detailed information on how I plan to accomplish this.

As you would be an end user of this tool, it would be great if you could go through the proposal and provide feedback/suggestions. Your feedback would definitely help me improve the proposal as well help in creating an even better tool. You can do the same on the discussion page of the proposal or reply here, whichever is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

P.S: I need to submit the proposal to Google by March 19, 2014.

As a Google Summer of Code Intern, I have been working on the Mass Migration tools project for Wikimedia. We are now ready with a minimal working product. The tool helps translators and translation administrators import the old translations into the Translate Extension.

An instance of the same has been set up on labs. You can find some useful instructions on the main page.

Please test the tool and report bugs/suggestions using the link provided on the main page itself. You can have a look at the tracking bug to check already reported bugs.

::Danke für die Info, dann ist es doch kein Fehler. :)
::Global blocks/de ist eine ziemlich unvollständige Übersetzung, fast alles auf Englisch, der Rest mit Fehlern: „Diese Sperren werden in der Liste Global Gesperrte Benutzer" ohne Prädikat, Fehler: „Globale Benutzersperrung Erweiterung". Warum wird so etwas nicht richtig übersetzt? Schon seit über 1 Jahr steht es dort so unvollständig und fehlerhaft, dass man die Seite gar nicht verwenden kann. Dann kann man sie auch gleich ganz löschen. „Globale Blockierungen" ist auch ein schöner Titel, dabei dachte ich, es ginge um globale (Benutzer-)Sperren und nicht nur einfache Blockierungen welcher Art auch immer. Ein Seitenschutz ist auch eine Blockierung, ein Nichtumsetzen eines Bugzilla-Antrags auch, aber Benutzersperren sind das beides nicht. Man sollte das lieber „Globale Benutzersperren" nennen, auch zur besseren Abgrenzung von Seitenschutzen/-sperren. == An important message about renaming users ==

<div class="mw-content-ltr">
Dear MF-Warburg,

I am cross-posting this message to many places to make sure everyone who is a Wikimedia Foundation project bureaucrat receives a copy. If you are a bureaucrat on more than one wiki, you will receive this message on each wiki where you are a bureaucrat.

As you may have seen, work to perform the Wikimedia cluster-wide single-user login finalisation (SUL finalisation) is taking place. This may potentially effect your work as a local bureaucrat, so please read this message carefully.

Why is this happening? As currently stated at the global rename policy, a global account is a name linked to a single user across all Wikimedia wikis, with local accounts unified into a global collection. Previously, the only way to rename a unified user was to individually rename every local account. This was an extremely difficult and time-consuming task, both for stewards and for the users who had to initiate discussions with local bureaucrats (who perform local renames to date) on every wiki with available bureaucrats. The process took a very long time, since it's difficult to coordinate crosswiki renames among the projects and bureaucrats involved in individual projects.

The SUL finalisation will be taking place in stages, and one of the first stages will be to turn off Special:RenameUser locally. This needs to be done as soon as possible, on advice and input from Stewards and engineers for the project, so that no more accounts that are unified globally are broken by a local rename to usurp the global account name. Once this is done, the process of global name unification can begin. The date that has been chosen to turn off local renaming and shift over to entirely global renaming is 15 September 2014, or three weeks time from now. In place of local renames is a new tool, hosted on Meta, that allows for global renames on all wikis where the name is not registered will be deployed.

Your help is greatly needed during this process and going forward in the future if, as a bureaucrat, renaming users is something that you do or have an interest in participating in. The Wikimedia Stewards have set up, and are in charge of, a new community usergroup on Meta in order to share knowledge and work together on renaming accounts globally, called Global renamers. Stewards are in the process of creating documentation to help global renamers to get used to and learn more about global accounts and tools and Meta in general as well as the application format. As transparency is a valuable thing in our movement, the Stewards would like to have at least a brief public application period. If you are an experienced renamer as a local bureaucrat, the process of becoming a part of this group could take as little as 24 hours to complete. You, as a bureaucrat, should be able to apply for the global renamer right on Meta by the requests for global permissions page on 1 September, a week from now.

In the meantime please update your local page where users request renames to reflect this move to global renaming, and if there is a rename request and the user has edited more than one wiki with the name, please send them to the request page for a global rename.

Stewards greatly appreciate the trust local communities have in you and want to make this transition as easy as possible so that the two groups can start working together to ensure everyone has a unique login identity across Wikimedia projects. Completing this project will allow for long-desired universal tools like a global watchlist, global notifications and many, many more features to make work easier.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the SUL finalisation, read over the Help:Unified login page on Meta and leave a note on the talk page there, or on the talk page for global renamers. You can also contact me on my talk page on meta if you would like. I'm working as a bridge between Wikimedia Foundation Engineering and Product Development, Wikimedia Stewards, and you to assure that SUL finalisation goes as smoothly as possible; this is a community-driven process and I encourage you to work with the Stewards for our communities.

Thank you for your time.

votes extensions
I think that the least of a good practice is to treat any request for extending a vote as valid. BTW, I've just noticed that I closed a request in which you yourself suggested an extension :) My apologies, I have not checked the dates of your comment (I assumed you would have extended the "not ending before..." tagline as well). This was not intentional and I blame myself for missing it. Pundit ([]) 12:58, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
:Well, Global_renamers#Special_nomination_provisions_until_end_of_January_2015 says "If objections are raised, a short discussion should ensue, at which point after 48 hours an uninvolved steward will close it and analyse whether consensus believes the concerns are valid or not". If you had objections and I didn't understand that, I'm sorry.
:I'm unable to find this request you speak of. So be glad, I won't complain about things I do not see ;-) However, if I correctly remember the comments I made where I proposed 2 weeks instead of the speedy process, they were about a lack of bureaucrat experience, thereby saying that the requester might not meet the requirements to make a "speedy request" at all. That is an unfortunate consequence of the ambiguous wording that emerged into the policy ("bureaucrats who are experienced with the rename rights"). If that was such a comment on the request, I even more don't mind it if you disagreed with or overlooked my suggestion about the request process that should be used. --<small>MF-W</small> 18:33, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
::It was this one :) In general, on several occasions stewards have requested extending the discussion (which may make sense when there is low turn-out too: in the beginning there is a run for buttons and a higher risk of overlooking something). But all in all, I agree that smooth proceeding is of value. Cheers! Pundit ([]) 05:39, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

Proposals for closing projects/Closure of Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia
Greetings. I am not sure if there is a separate page for leaving messages to LangCom as a body, and I see you are online at the moment. Could you please have a look here and see whether, as is my humble opinion, the proposal meets the criteria for a LangCom member to reject it immediately. I have stated the reasons for my opinion there, but I can repeat them here too in a nutshell. Namely, the proposal is, in my opinion, harmful, based on misconceptions, and with no reasonable possibility of a decision to close sh.wiki. Further, the same proposal was made earlier this year and the policy envisages that "a proposal that is exactly the same, may not be made the same year". :Ich hab mal RFC mit Meinungsbild übersetzt. Das trifft es so ziemlich. Policy übersetze ich meistens auch mit "Regeln". Hello. I see that Kimberley-nia Bot is not editing since september 2014, despite having issued some !delete commands on IRC. Is the service still active? Thank you. :Sorry for the delay. The process of the bot had been running for too long, and so it exceeded the memory limit I assigned to it, and it didn't function anymore. I simply restarted the bot now (which also every op on #cvn-sw can do by saying "!quit"). --<small>MF-W</small> 23:51, 14 December 2014 (UTC)

Is it still active? Bot still in #cvn-sw though no reports since September. The user page says "toolserver", not toollabs. As it has not reported, I have rem'd that section on Steward requests/Miscellaneous until it is back. — billinghurst sDrewth 04:08, 4 January 2015 (UTC) Reply

New admin process for kw.wiki

Latest comment: 9 years ago 3 comments2 people in discussion

Hi - thanks for handling our temp admin rights (for myself and User:Bodrugan). We're starting to draft processes/guidelines for appointing admins. Can you let me know what would be the requirements for the kw.wiki to be able to 'self-sufficient' in appointing permanent admins by itself - I'm assuming its community size, but what kind of size do you use when considering requests? Many thanks! Sweorcan (talk) 09:17, 15 January 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hi. My views on this - and I believe of some other stewards as well - are based on the Requests for comment/Minimum voting requirements, which happened years ago. It's difficult to give exact numbers, as it is always a decision dependent on the individual cases, but I think that for granting permanent adminship on a wiki by stewards, there should be at least 5-6 users who vote/participate in the RFA who have at least 100 (preferably of course more) edits on the wiki in question. --MF-W 22:10, 15 January 2015 (UTC) Reply
Many thanks - Whilst I think (hopefully) grow over that rough benchmark, it's unlikely in the near future - so I'll write it into the guidelines I'm working on. Sweorcan (talk) 12:26, 16 January 2015 (UTC) Reply

Massmessage

I'm sorry for including you multiple times in my lists, and it is unfortunate I did not mention that the message is a one-time occurrence similar to the way the 2014 top medical editors were awarded with barnstars. I would hope you understand I included multiple copies of some names because I was unable to tell which main Wiki was involved. It is possible I should have looked for certain names on meta, but you are also one of a very few who are active enough to discover multi-wiki message, and I feared messages would not otherwise be read. I wish for you to accept my apology, and would consider our project a worthy cause anyway. CFCF (talk) 18:36, 28 January 2015 (UTC) Reply

I see. I accept your apology; and do think the project is a worthy cause, however I have no idea how I could possible have been considered as a "top medical contributor" (on multiple wikis) as I am not really knowledgeable and active in that field. --MF-W 20:22, 28 January 2015 (UTC) Reply

Closed-discussion pages

Latest comment: 9 years ago 2 comments2 people in discussion

On an issue similar to what I've been addressing (verrry slowly) at Talk:Language committee#Requests for new languages inconsistencies, I notice that some closed-discussion subpages under Proposals for closing projects have been semiprotected to prevent further editing by regular users, but most have not, leading to some good-faith mistakes like this. I was thinking of adding discussion top and discussion bottom to the subpages whose discussions are finished but are still editable, since that makes it immediately visually obvious that something special has happened (example). (Note that I have just added a parameter to the templates to allow suppression or replacement of the "Subsequent comments" part of the template message, if desired — see the template docs.) What do you think? I would have suggested just semiprotecting all such subpages as a normal part of the closure process, but things like this suggest that tagging with the template(s) might be a better approach. - dcljr (talk) 22:40, 4 February 2015 (UTC) Reply

That's a very good idea; it used to be done in the past indeed. Please feel free to do it. --MF-W 11:19, 5 February 2015 (UTC) Reply

Steward elections

Hi MF, a user can be the housekeeper took 90% of the vote? A person without a fight global as vandalism, only to have the steward comes to the vote would be as absurd as. Good wikis. --Uğurkent talk 14:41, 9 February 2015 (UTC) Reply

Sorry, I do not understand your question. Do you want to know whether someone can be elected who gets 90% support? --MF-W 16:00, 9 February 2015 (UTC) Reply
Yes, someone who is a not contribute as much cross-wiki with to be selected as 90% voting percentage? --Uğurkent talk 16:10, 9 February 2015 (UTC) Reply
Well, that is depressing, but the majority of the voters doesn't seem to care. The only requirements in order to be a candidate who can get elected are listed here and they do not include "much cross-wiki activity". You can of course try to convince voters to oppose candidates who don't have enough crosswiki experience, but you don't need to try it here. I, for one, opposed all but three candidates in this election, but I am just one voter. --MF-W 16:44, 9 February 2015 (UTC) Reply

Could you tell us if there is any steward in this wikipedia, how he was named, and what he has he been doing along the years? Thank you Bianchi-Bihan (kaozeal) 10 Ebr 2015 da 16:57 (UTC)

Hi, stewards are a global user group - there are no stewards just for Breton Wikipedia, English Wikipedia, etc. --MF-W 19:44, 10 April 2015 (UTC) Reply
Mind if I say something? There are some users who speak breton and they might have specific flags at the "meta" level or on other wiki multilingual platforms (commons, wikidata), but as far as I remmeber no steward is br-N, br-3 or br-2. For example here I've tried to suggest to a br-2 user to apply for the flag of Global renamers. So, as you can see, there is some "attention" on the topic, even if it is a "minor" language.--Alexmar983 (talk) 22:12, 10 April 2015 (UTC) Reply

Incubator languages

Latest comment: 9 years ago 2 comments2 people in discussion

Hello, today I run a script to find translators for languages in need of most used messages translations. For the languages 80–99 % translated it went rather well (almost 700 quite active editors), but for the hundreds remaining languages I'm having issues, only 300 editors found. Is it realistic for incubator to have 114 languages with a MediaWiki locale but no Wikimedia project and not a single editor having at least 30 edits in 6 months? If not, I'm afraid way too many users are editing Incubator with English interface language. :[ --Nemo 17:21, 26 April 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hm, you mean that the languages which have <80% completion in MediaWiki have 300 editors in total on WMF wikis who have one of these languages as their preference? --MF-W 23:56, 26 April 2015 (UTC) Reply

Latin script articles in the Konkani Wikipedia

Latest comment: 9 years ago 4 comments2 people in discussion

Hi Warburg, I feel that the Konkani Wikipedia, which has been approved by LangCom, should inclue the Latin script articles as well. The only reason I've seen put forward to exclude the Latin script articles is that Devanagari is the official script. I've left a comment to this effect at the request discussion, please could you also share your thoughts, if any, about this there? Regards. The Discoverer (talk) 05:12, 19 June 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hello MF-Warburg, with respect to this discussion, please could you confirm whether you will import the Latin script articles too from wp/gom ? Thanks, The Discoverer (talk) 18:18, 19 June 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hello, I open a proposal for create an Galician-Portuguese Wikipedia, the Galician-Portuguese was a language spoke in Galicia and Portugal, between the X and XIV centuries, then Galician had influence of spanish and the Galician and Portuguee became different. This language was so important than Alfonso X, el Sabio of the foreign kingdom of Lion used this language in his poems as D.Dinis king of Portugal. Some experts in language, one recomenmed me this project, believe Galician-Portuguese is still in use by the different names Galician and Portuguese and the differences are little so there are different forms of a language you can look for more info. I haven ́t got ISO code because is an old language as Old English... Say please what things we have to do to turn it eligible.

This is a message from the Wikimedia Foundation. Translations are available.

As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.

An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.

The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that anyone with access to nonpublic information sign the new confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have access to nonpublic information and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy.

Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. The general confidentiality agreement is now ready, and the OTRS agreement will be ready after 22 September 2015. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign

If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum(_AT_)wikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain your access to nonpublic information. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.

Thank you,
Gregory Varnum (User:GVarnum-WMF), Wikimedia Foundation

Pashto Wikipedia MediaWiki:Recentchangestext

Latest comment: 8 years ago 3 comments2 people in discussion

Hello Mr Warburg, Can you please help us for put this text in this Medidiawiki, Thanx.--Ibrahim khashrowdi (talk) 16:38, 30 September 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hello. It does not seem a very good idea to put an unprotected template into it, as that would undermine the protection of the MediaWiki namespace, which precisely can only be edited by sysops to prevent that users (accidentally or maliciously) destroy the interface. I think it's better if you get local admins on pswiki to do it, or to put an expanded version (Special:ExpandTemplates) of the template into the page. --MF-W 04:17, 2 October 2015 (UTC) Reply
I know , but I mean we want to create Recentchanges text for pswiki and we alredy have a template, and just need to put it in MediaWiki:recentchangestext like this one.--Ibrahim khashrowdi (talk) 16:18, 2 October 2015 (UTC) Reply

Why have I been blocked from editing?

Latest comment: 8 years ago 2 comments2 people in discussion

I've been editing wikipedia for over 8 years, and have never received any warnings. Now when I try to edit any page I get this message:

Your IP address is in a range which has been blocked on all wikis.

"The block was made by MF-Warburg (meta.wikimedia.org). The reason given is cross-wiki abuse (m:Special:Permalink/13867399#Australian_Telstra.2FNSW_IP_addresses).

Start of block: 01:09, October 6, 2015 Expiry of block: 01:09, November 6, 2015 You can contact MF-Warburg to discuss the block."

I assume this is an error of some kind. If not, please explain. Thanks. Freikorp (talk) 11:20, 6 October 2015 (UTC) Reply

I've changed the block to anon-only, as was actually originally my intention. --MF-W 00:07, 7 October 2015 (UTC) Reply

Dear MF-Warburg, thank you for pointing this out. I am aware of most guidelines, but alot of unspoken rules I still need to make my own. With this particular case I followed several recent examples, but those might also have been overly cautious. If you have feedback to any of my actions in the future please proceed to tell me, so I can learn and do not repeat the same mistake. All the best, Taketa (talk) 19:17, 18 December 2015 (UTC) Reply

Global blockee's articles in xh:

Latest comment: 8 years ago 5 comments2 people in discussion

I see you've globally blocked 2602:30A:2C48:EB10:E5AE:AD87:18A1:6A7B while leaving the user's articles in the Xhosa Wikipedia (see previous link). I assume you can't really tell if any are legit, but there are some that are clearly "sub-par", like these. Were you going to delete any of this user's articles? ... Oh, I see you've started to do delete stuff in the Venda WP. I guess you just haven't gotten to the other(s) yet. - dcljr (talk) 04:45, 5 January 2016 (UTC) Reply

Yes, I deleted them now. It's quite easy to say that they are all not legit: they were all a copy of xh:ENetherlands. --MF-W 05:23, 5 January 2016 (UTC) Reply
Re "legit": I meant that if any of the user's articles actually were legitimate Xhosa text about the subject of the article, neither of us could know that for sure. I see that you left xh:Oceania in place (albeit modified), presumably for that very reason. - dcljr (talk) 00:11, 7 January 2016 (UTC) Reply
Well yes, of course if they have content which looks like Xhosa, we'll probably not recognize if it's really Xhosa. But the guy didn't add any texts; xh:Oceania was edited by an IP. --MF-W 22:35, 7 January 2016 (UTC) Reply
Oops, yeah, you're right. - dcljr (talk) 00:38, 8 January 2016 (UTC) Reply

löscht Du alles was Du nicht verstehst?

Latest comment: 8 years ago 4 comments2 people in discussion

Hello MF-Warburg! Bei [6] gab es 280 WMF w: Sprach- / wiki-Codes, die mit viel Mühe zusammengetragen wurden. Da hättest Du also ein weites Betätigungsfeld. Als Steward bist Du da nicht allein, siehe [7] (wurde gelöscht bevor das Modul gespeichert werden konnte). Hatte eigentlich erwartet Dich beim IRC #wikimedia-stewards anzutreffen. Vielleicht ein andermal. Gruß Gangleri auch aka I18n (talk) 08:57, 5 January 2016 (UTC) Reply

Nein, dann müsste ich diesen Abschnitt ja löschen. --MF-W 19:42, 5 January 2016 (UTC) Reply
Kannst Du bitte die beiden gelöschten Module wieder herstellen? Analog zu "list of articles all Wikipedias should have" d.h.
--MF-W 22:35, 7 January 2016 (UTC) Reply

Interested in knowing the reason for hold

Latest comment: 8 years ago 3 comments2 people in discussion

Because requests should at least be open for some days for everyone to have a chance to participate. For bot requests, I think 5 days is an appropriate time if nothing else is stated in some policy. --MF-W 21:33, 21 January 2016 (UTC) Reply
