How would you imagine this being implemented in terms of GUI/wikicode syntax/special pages? Minilexikon (talk) 12:58, 29 July 2024 (UTC) Reply

The original poster might be talking something about like mw:Who Wrote That?. A09 |(pogovor) 13:11, 29 July 2024 (UTC) Reply

Hi @Trigenibinion - I wondered if you could elaborate on what you're looking for here, it's not clear to me at the moment what feature you're asking for or problem that you're facing. Does the Who Wrote That? tool (linked above) solve your need? Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 11:28, 15 November 2024 (UTC) Reply

Who Wrote That would not show deleted text. Trigenibinion (talk) 16:31, 15 November 2024 (UTC) Reply
@Trigenibinion Have you tried RevisionSlider? You can check it out by ensuring that 'Don't show revision slider' isn't checked in your Preferences, and then opening a diff and clicking the 'Browse history interactively' dropdown area at the top of the diff. This can help browse content additions and removals visually across the history of an article. Does that solve your need, or does it not help with a particular workflow you have? That doesn't do what I would like, which is to select a sentence a see its revision history, including deletions. Trigenibinion (talk) 10:40, 18 November 2024 (UTC) Reply
OK - thanks for clarifying! Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 10:48, 18 November 2024 (UTC) Reply
