Most of the wasnt in user at anytime. They got automatically createt when i was seeking for infomation on thes wikis. Ist it possible to rename the account ogmios in en.wiktionary en.wikipedia and wikicommons to anything like random00abc so thorsten can be renamed to ogmios there too?, kind rgards, thorsten

As you can see I already asked for username usurpation (in june and july) but the local bureaucrats did not answer. The interwiki list on SR/SUL is useless because it only says where the usurpation requests for wikipedias are (not wiktionary or wikinews). Greetings --Nino 22:35, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

The reason for requested renaming: I am both es:JoeMa and JøMa; I had created one account in the Spanish wiki, and I have this one here, which is a SUL now. I would like to "merge" them so the Spanish JoeMa's history can appear in JøMa's context.

Unfortunately, I did not find any page on the Spanish wiki to request this change; on the English wiki, I found the request site to ask there (see here).

I request at no.wiki the username Bruker:Beria for SUL. The account is mine in 74 projetcs (include pt.wiki - my local and sysop account). After 3 months of wait, the local bureaucrats said that the local account can't be usurped because the user is active (the account have 5 edits at all), and although of rules of no.wiki said that if the actual owner of username don't responding in 1 month the account is userped... the answer for me (after 3 months) it's not. I disagree of that and I ask the opinion of the stewards. (All the history can be find in local page of request changes of usernames in no.wiki - Wikipedia:Overtagelse_av_brukernavn/Ønskede_endringer#Beria)

Hello, the possibility to unify the accounts does not mean that one is allowed to take over already existing names on wikis where the same username already exists, this is regulated on each local wiki and if the local wiki says no, there is nothing we can do about it. I recommend to contact the user per email and explain him the situation kindly also that he would have an advantage of a rename (because then he can use sul too), or, at least I would do that if I were affected, ask for a rename Yourself, check with vvv's sul-tool if an username is still free, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið _{(:> )=|} 00:54, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Birdy... I contact the user by e-mail 2 months ago... and I have no answer... the problem is not the not of the bureucrats... is because they do that wihtout no one rule of no.wiki to support then. Sorry but the user just edited some days ago [9], and if he does not respond to Your emails he either don't understand them (try to ask a local crat if he can explain it to him in Norwegian, or he does not want to. However, as said, there will be no action from us, the local crats have to decide that, I can just gave You a recommendation (either asking the user (in his own language) or get a rename Yourself (or even don't care about that not merged account on no.wiki, if You don't plan to edit there)), best regards, --birdy geimfyglið _{(:> )=|} 01:52, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

P.S. (to make it more clear): Users are allowed to unify their accounts, that does not mean, they have the right to take over an account that they don't own. The name change has been discussed, and it ended not in favor of the user in question. The present owner of the name does not have a lot of edits, but he has although edits. Jeblad 07:00, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
