Bug in Modernisation tab
@He7d3r: Hello! On French Wikisource, since December 2021, there has been a bug with the Modernisation gadget: by default, the text is typeset with original spelling and at the top of the page appears a tab Orthographe d'origine; after having clicked on this tab and chosen modern spelling (Orthographe moderne), normally there are four new options in the tab : Orthographe d'origine, Orthographe moderne, Page d'aide, Montrer les altérations (these names are locally defined in French Wikisource). Since December 2021, these options are all renamed Orthographe moderne, even if they keep having the expected behaviour (for example, the last Orthographe moderne, which has replaced Montrer les altérations, highlights the changes the gadget has made). For example, you can see it on this page. We warned Tpt, who advised us to warn you: can you find the origin of this bug, and fix it? Thanks in advance! — ElioPrrl (talk) 20:09, 14 February 2023 (UTC) Reply
jquery.cookie should be replaced
@He7d3r: Hello, this command does not work any more (on the French Wikisource), apparently because the module fails to load jquery.cookie
. According, to task T336018, gadget developers should replace jquery.cookie with mediawiki.cookie. Thanks. Seudo (talk) 09:54, 23 January 2024 (UTC) Reply
- I made a version that seems to fix the above-mentioned problems: s:fr:User:Seudo/LanguageConverter.js. Seudo (talk) 13:15, 23 January 2024 (UTC) Reply
