A woven tapestry
Weaving was a method of making textiles that interlaced two separate sets of thread to form fabric. One who wove was called a weaver. The technique of weaving was used in creating Ventanan woven art, Mintakan tapestries, and in making baskets; knitting was also a form of weaving.
A group of Human colonists led by Alixus learned how to weave their own clothes to stay warm after they were unable to use their technology. This in addition to learning to plow and harvest field crops, construct protective walls from against the wilderness. (DS9: "Paradise")
