Memory Alpha:Ten Forward

On Memory Alpha, Ten Forward is a forum where archivists may gather to discuss various issues concerning the policies and operation of the wiki.

The following types of posts do not belong at Ten Forward:

• Newcomers' questions: Please take the time to read the introduction and help pages before posting questions.
• General Star Trek discussion: Conversation about Star Trek that doesn't directly concern Memory Alpha should be held on Discussions, our Discord, or one of our social media outlets.
• Issues with individual pages: Most issues concerning an individual page should be addressed on the associated talk page. This includes edit requests, merging and splitting articles, and renaming articles.
• Bug reports: Bug reports go on Memory Alpha:Bug reports.
• Requesting page deletion: Deletion requests are handled at Memory Alpha:Pages for deletion.
• Requesting page restoration: Undeletion requests are handled at Memory Alpha:Restoration discussions.
• Page protection: Use Memory Alpha:Protection requests to suggest an increase or decrease in a page's protection level.
• Getting admin attension: If an issue requires the attension of administrators, make a post on the admin noticeboard.
• Featured articles: Featured article nominations and reviews are handled on dedicated pages.
• Suggesting new categories or templates: New categories or templates should be proposed at Memory Alpha:Category suggestions and Memory Alpha:Template suggestions respectively.
• Article and file requests: Dedicated pages exist for users to suggest articles for creation and to request that images, audio, or documents be uploaded on MA.
• Requesting bot runs: Requests for bot runs are handled at Memory Alpha:Bot requests.
• Getting your bot approved: If you have a bot that you would like to use on MA, go to the bot approval requests page.
• Admin nominations: Go to Memory Alpha:Nominations for administratorship to nominate a fellow user to be an admin.
