Angle Standard Position
AngleStandardPositionAngleAxis
An angle theta drawn on the coordinate plane is said to be in standard position if its initial side lies on the positive x-axis so that its vertex coincides with the origin and its rotation is in the counterclockwise direction.
In the above image, the angle theta is in standard position due to the locations of its vertex and its initial side and because of the direction of its rotation.
