How much does membership cost?

Nothing! Join Mailchimp & Co for free with any Mailchimp marketing plan, even our free plan. If you have a paid Mailchimp marketing plan, there is no additional cost. Just stay current on your existing plan to maintain access to Mailchimp & Co.

How do I get a partner badge?

Once you reach partner status in Mailchimp & Co, you can access your badge (and some guidelines on how to use it) in your Mailchimp & Co dashboard.

Do I have to have a certain type of account or monthly plan to join Mailchimp & Co?

Whether you’re just signing up for a Mailchimp account or have an existing one you want to use, you can join Mailchimp & Co with any Mailchimp marketing plan.

Why should I connect my clients?

Using connected accounts has advantages compared to other methods of working with clients, like shared logins or shared seats. Connecting accounts:

• Is more secure
• Doesn’t impact your clients’ pricing plan
• Allows you to invite other members from your team to collaborate without disrupting your client
• Makes it easier to navigate between clients, since they are all listed in one place in your dashboard
• Eliminates the need to manage multiple logins

How do I get a directory listing?

Partners and pro partners receive a directory listing as part of your benefits.

How do I change my directory listing?

Partners and pro partners have the ability to edit their directory listing. If you qualify, you can edit yours in the Mailchimp & Co tab in your account.

Mailchimp Academy

What will I learn in Mailchimp Academy?

Mailchimp Academy includes interactive courses and assessments designed to help you expand your digital marketing skills. Courses explore topics through text, images, and interactive experiences and give you all the knowledge you need to pass assessments. Take assessments to earn certifications and unlock new courses and certification opportunities.

How do I access Mailchimp Academy?

All members of Mailchimp & Co have the opportunity to take courses and get certified in Mailchimp. You can find Mailchimp Academy in your Mailchimp & Co dashboard or in the drop-down menu of your account under the Partners tab.

How can I help team members at my agency or freelance business get access to Mailchimp Academy? Can they get certified?

Individuals at your organization can get certified once they are added to your organization’s account.

Each member of your company or organization will need to be added as a user to your company’s Mailchimp & Co account. Once connected, each member can access Mailchimp Academy and get certified.

How do I get started?

We recommend everyone start with the first course in Mailchimp Foundations, Getting Certified in Mailchimp, which explains what we’re all about as a company, shares a bit about the history, and gives an overview of Mailchimp Academy’s goals. From there, it’s up to you.

Take the rest of the Mailchimp Foundations courses to gain a comprehensive understanding of Mailchimp, or pick and choose which topics you’re most interested in. If you’re already proficient in Mailchimp and your goal is getting certifications, you can skip the courses and jump straight to assessments. Pass all 6 assessments in Mailchimp Foundations and you’ll be officially certified in Mailchimp.

How do I get a certification badge?

Once you pass the final assessment within a certification, you’ll receive a toolkit that includes your badge along with suggestions and best practices for how to use it.

You can share your badge on social media, add it to your website and LinkedIn page, include it in your email signature, and more—anywhere you’d like prospective clients to see it. We’ll give you more details in the badge toolkit.

Does my certification expire?

Yes. We’ll send you more information about this well in advance of your certification expiring, but generally you can expect to renew it every 12 to 18 months. The goal of recertification is to learn new features and functionality within Mailchimp since you last took the exam and get a refresher on the content. As always, we'll make it as useful and efficient to do so as possible, while still ensuring you get the training you need to stay current on Mailchimp.

Do you have an affiliate or reseller program?

Members with 2+ paid connected clients, partners, and pro partners are eligible to earn commissions for referring new Mailchimp customers who purchase a paid plan and for connecting with existing Mailchimp customers who upgrade from a free to paid Mailchimp plan, or are already on a paid Mailchimp plan. You can find more information in our Knowledge Base.

Is there an agency or client discount for being part of Mailchimp & Co? Do my clients get a discount?

A discount is not currently one of the benefits offered in the Mailchimp & Co community for agencies or clients.

Partners and pro partners can access enablement resources in your Partner Resources page, including webinar recordings and sales materials. All Mailchimp & Co members will receive information on what’s new at Mailchimp and will have access to Mailchimp Academy to learn more about Mailchimp features.
