I don't know if this is supposed to work, but the exception looks wrong:

... 
>>> f = list(g())
Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
 File "<stdin>", line 1, in g
SystemError: error return without exception set
Also, the checkin lacked a bytecode magic number bump. It is not really
a problem since I've just bumped it anyway.
