This is still in Lib/test/string_tests.py:
 #EQ("A", "", "replace", "", "A")
 # That was the correct result; this is the result we actually get
 # now (for str, but not for unicode):
 #EQ("", "", "replace", "", "A")
Is this going to be fixed?
