You mean
DLLLIBRARY='$(basename $(LDLIBRARY))'
But yes, that fixes it.

Well, on *that* I'm not sure, that's why I asked :P If things in the Python
source boggle me, they are always there for a good reason. Well, maybe just
'almost always', but practically always :)
