Er, no, I just read your patch backward. ;-)

No, I'd checked in the 9th as the release date at first, since I
thought that's what it was going to be. Then I saw a README or NEWS
checkin that said it was the 8th (must be that Aussie calendar! ;), so
I had to change it and re-build the docs.
As far as I'm concerned, the 8th is fine. Sorry for the confusion.
