netbsd-help: having trouble with floppy

This seems like it ought to be simple but I'm stuck. 
First of all, what I assume are the reference to my floppy in the boot
messages:
fdc1 at pnpbios0 index 21 (PNP0700)
fdc1: io 3f0-3f5 3f7, irq 6, dma 2
How can I use this floppy? I've tried mouting /dev/fd[01]* on /floppy
and I get "Device not configured".
