netbsd-help: USB speaker support?

I've running 1.5.2 on a i386 laptop, and I've got a pair of USB
speakers lying around that I'd like to use with the laptop. After
looking through the man pages and google, I think I'm out of luck with
1.5.2. Can anyone verify this?
Finally, is there support for USB speakers in 1.6?
