Is the "nobody" account supposed to be in "nogroup" or not?
As is it isn't:
owl% grep nobody /etc/passwd
nobody:*:32767:9999:Unprivileged user:/nonexistent:/dev/null
owl% grep nogroup /etc/group 
nogroup:*:32766:
owl% grep 9999 /etc/group 
[nothing]
