The schema.org terms [2] does state that it uses a CC License (which forbids patents), and then goes on to say *if* there were any patents, then they would make them Royalty-Free. </this-is-not-legal-advice> Also, given that 3 of the biggest companies produced a one-page legal document - that is an achievement ;-) Cheers...
