This restriction is undesirable. Proposed Change: Rewrite the sc in terms of user interface components rather than forms and fields. For example, it could be expressed in terms of changing or setting the state of a user interface component, where state would be defined to include any kind of value that the component can accept as input. Of course, there are other, simpler ways of generalizing this to user interface components.
