Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) of the United Nations aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. Clean water and sanitation are essential for human health and well-being, and also critical for sustainable development. This Collection features a selection of articles published in the journal from 2022 to date covering SDG 6. Articles focusing on the full scope of SDG 6 will be added to this Collection on an ongoing basis. Given the multi-disciplinary scope of most articles published in our journal, many articles will cover more than one SDG, with SDG 6 being the main focus of each article included in this Collection.
