Bug Description
If an application is uninstalled, then it should not be shown in the plank. This causes much confusion and makes me feel uncomfortable using plank.
If gnome-menu are connected to many applications menus, why does not plank share this feature.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but after you uninstall the app and restart Plank it should not show. Right?

Thanks, Robert. It does work after that a restart, but it seems still confusing to me. Is there a way to remove it from plank without restarting.

Yes this is a bug.
We detect the app is gone (the logs show it) but we don't remove the item.
