Welp, time to become the miniority again. To be honest, I dont think this guy deserves so much hate. I mean, we kill so many animals already (chickens, cows, etc.). And I know that lions are endangered, but you know what? That wasn't true sometime ago, and no one cared if a lion was killed. Years ago, this guy wouldn't even be acknowledged. Why don't we care about all animals, whether they're close to extinction or not? And meanwhile, people in Africa are being killed, diamonds turning into "blood diamonds", starvation, you name it, and no one cares?
Because there's a huge difference between killing animals for food and resources, and killing endangered species for sport? We eat animals because it's necessary for our species as omnivores, but hunting just for selfish bragging rights serves no real purpose.
And yes, we know about the stuff going on in Africa, what does that have to do with the topic at hand? Distracting one issue with another is the cowards way of ignoring the issue altogether.
>killing endangered species
Your daily reminder that the lion is not an endangered species according the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
My mistake, they aren't endangered, I apologize. But for the most part my point still stands; it was senseless killing that achieved nothing in the end.
(Sorry this took so long to reply, my job can be ridiculous at times)
