Mite is a yellowish orange mole-like enemy in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards . He has a round body with circular, black eyes, what appears to be a white beak, and long arms and legs with sharp, triangular claws. Mite is often seen digging out of the ground and running around quickly in all directions before digging back underground. He gives no ability when inhaled. If Mite is held above Kirby's head, he will flail around, and when he is thrown, he will fall down and burrow underground, unharmed.
Etymology[ ]
Mite's Japanese name, ヒョコ (Hyoko), may come from the Japanese word for chick, ひよこ/雛 (Hiyoko).
