Boten is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Land 3 . It yields the Needle ability when inhaled.
Physical Appearance[ ]
Boten is a small green creature that resembles a real life cactus. It has a total of seven pointy needles on the top of its head, and the center of its face features two black shiny eyes. Its body has several thin yellow lines running down it.

Kirby's Dream Land 3 [ ]
Boten has only appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3 to date. Boten's attacks are similar to Togezo's- he waits on top of some cacti for Kirby to come near him. When the pink hero walks by, Boten will come down and try to spike him.
Etymology[ ]
Boten's name appears to be derived from saboten, a Japanese word for a cactus.
Trivia[ ]
- In Kirby Mass Attack , a similar cactus-like enemy named Stactus appears.
