Physical Appearance[ ]

Blade is a small knight-like enemy that has a spherical, black body, and wears a purple helmet with a single orange spike on top. It carries a sword in its left hand.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 [ ]

Blades are first found in Stage 1 of Red Canyon. It attacks by slashing and can send projectiles (such as Kine's Light Bulb and Kirby's Cutters) back at Kirby to damage him. It usually will guard an Animal Friend and is part of a trio with Masher and Butch. Blade can’t be inhaled, so Kirby must use a Air Gun or a Copy Ability to defeat it.

Trivia[ ]

• Blade is one of the few small enemies in the Kirby series to be able to resist Kirby’s inhale, with other enemies including Gordos and Shotzos.
• A mini-monster that appears in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! episodes A Blockbuster Battle and Monster Management bears a striking resemblance to Blade.
• Although Masher and Butch resemble Mace Knight and Axe Knight, Blade does not appear to have any clear counterparts among the Meta-Knights.
