For this Data Analytics project, Ben used his new skills to analyze his running in 2019. Turns out he ran over 5,000 KM in 10 different countries! To build this project, first he exported all of his running data from his sports watch and imported it into Google Sheets. Then he cleaned and validated the data, and imported it into Tableau to create the visuals, exploring topics like where he ran, what were the longest runs, and how much time he spent running.

World Happiness CorrelationsWorld Happiness Correlations
This Data Analytics project uses Excel and Tableau to look at how several different variables correlate with happiness in countries of the world. Lorien focused on variables that relate to women's rights: number of babies per woman and percentage of national parliamentary seats held by women. The project also ties these variables to the income level of the country.

I have loved connecting with some of my co-workers through this class honestly, we would have never met otherwise as we are in different parts of the company. Other than that, I've really enjoyed just learning HOW to tell a story, I spent a lot of time working on my final project and it really helped solidify some of the concepts for me better. I will be able to use this at work and hopefully to find a different role. I also really enjoyed Carlos as an instructor, he never made us feel bad or dumb and was patient to explain things.

I really appreciated the lessons and topics covered: SQL, Tableau, and some of the Google/Excel formulas will be very helpful for me as I look into a career in data analytics. I thought also that the learning experience was inclusive: there were opportunities provided for people, like myself, to work alone, and also to share ideas and input, considering all of our individual needs. The instructor and teaching assistant were also very supportive and quick to respond to queries I had.

I signed up for Juno College's Data Analytics course to help me in a new role, to ensure that I could pull the reports I needed to do my job. The best part was I found I could start using skills even while I was in the class. It's pretty great!

My goal was to refresh Excel skills, and gain some further knowledge within SQL, and learn new items like Tableau and a bit of Python, and this course gave me exactly that! I thoroughly enjoyed this course, and although I am not looking for a career in Data Analytics, I will definitely benefit from the knowledge I learned in this course in my current job.

To participate in our Live Online courses, you must have:
A computer with working speakers and microphone — a laptop or desktop computer is fine!
A modern operating system - MacOS 10 or higher, Windows 7 or higher, or equivalent. We recommmend you use:
An Apple laptop newer than 6 years old running one of the 3 most recent major releases of MacOS (currently: 10.14 (Mojave) or newer)
A PC laptop newer than 4 years old running Windows 10
Machines outside these parameters may still work, but might have issues running the software and tooling needed to complete coursework. Juno will only be able to provide limited support to older computers, OS versions, and other operating systems not listed above (e.g. Linux). At this time, laptops running ChromeOS ("Chromebooks") don’t easily run the software and tools we need for coursework at Juno, and cannot be used with our courses.
To make the most of your Live Online experience, we also recommend:
A working web cam (it doesn’t have to be the greatest quality)!
An external monitor if you're using a laptop, or a secondary monitor if you're using a desktop computer
A comfortable desk and chair
Noise-cancelling headphones
A positive attitude!
Students who complete our Bootcamp programs will receive a certificate.
We don't provide certificates for our part-time courses, but we’re happy to provide a letter of completion — just email our Student Experience Consultant at the end of your course!

There are no instructor-led classes on Fridays. For Full-Time programs, Fridays are self-directed, meaning that we ask that all Full-Time students dedicate Fridays to practicing critical independent work skills such as reviewing class notes, working on projects, or prepping for the week ahead. This ensures that students can wrap up every week of class confidently!
Yes! This course was previously called Data Foundations, and renamed Data Analytics in 2020. The course content is still very similar, and we've evolved the course title to better describe the content of the course and reach people who are looking to learn about Data Analytics.
