In 2012, Juno started out as an experiment, and we continue to value progress through experimentation to this day. Our focus is to create a modern educational experience that is designed for the tech industry of the future. This means constantly improving, trying new things, and being okay with the trial and error process that eventually leads to breakthroughs. From our students, to alumni, to the Juno Team, everyone here strives to improve and do better every day!

Enrolling our students in courses isn’t enough - we’re here to make sure they get what they came to Juno for: a new career. And to make that happen, we’re all about taking action and making plans that are centered around the success of our students. To deliver the results that we strive for, we’re committed to measurement, transparency, and open communication. While we love ideating, we’re way more about the walk than the talk!

Juno was built on the foundation of innovation, and with this comes the need for flexibility. While we know where we’re headed over the long term, the path there has lots of twists and turns, and our team doesn’t mind figuring it out along the way. In fact, we thrive in this ambiguity. We see opportunities where other people might see challenges, and we’re excited to take them on.

Juno exists to help people launch and grow careers in tech - especially those underrepresented in the industry. Making a career change can be scary, which is why we’re here to support our students and provide them with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to launch new careers in tech - and have some fun along the way! With community-oriented classrooms, interactive lessons, and a lifelong support network, our first priority is always to build the best possible learning experience for our students, from day one.

At Juno, we understand the importance of balance in our personal and professional lives. To place emphasis on this, all team members have 4-day work weeks, 3 weeks of paid vacation, and 7 personal emergency days a year. We also have a company-wide holiday closure from December 24th to the New Year.

It's important that our team members are compensated fairly so that they can live comfortably. That's why Juno College is a certified Living Wage Employer, meaning our salaries have been adjusted and increased to cover the actual cost of living in Toronto, and will continue to be adjusted based on periodic reviews by the Ontario Living Wage Network.

We also offer a Professional Development Fund of 500ドル per person for other training and development opportunities outside of Juno. We welcome you to learn anything that you're interested in, regardless of its relevance to your job.

Our CEO is a parent, so this comes right from the top! Many people who work at Juno are parents, and we’ve supported several team members through parental leaves. We offer a progressive pregnancy & parental leave policy, and we top up all employees to 75% for three months.

We serve over 1,000 students a year, and our alumni community is over 10,000 people strong!
