I started this project since i needed a versatile USB hub to my Raspberry Pi. So why not make my own :) The USB hub got three USB ports and one serial port. I also got connections for 5V and 3.3V power.
  • 1 ×ばつ TUSB2046 4-port USB hub controller
  • 3 ×ばつ SN75240PW USB port transient suppressor
  • 1 ×ばつ FT232RL USB to serial IC
  • 1 ×ばつ TPS2044BDRG4 Power Switch IC

Any reason you opted for usb 1.1?

Mostly because TUSB2046B is easy to find and it also got some good documentation. USB 1.1 is good enough since i wont use the hub for any large data transfers. Looks interesting, will check it out!

This could be a very useful hacking tool! I always need more USB ports and serial. Looking forward to seeing more details.

Also, what did you render the board in? It doesn't quite look like Altium.

I used NI Ultiboard for the PCB layout and rendering of the design.
