This will make the camp much more meaningful as we get you over the hurdle of the common complexities of the Drupal platform.
CCK, Views, Taxonomy, Users/Roles/Permissions, Blocks/Regions and more will be covered.
We're going to breeze through the very very basic stuff then settle in on the intermediate aspects that you NEED TO KNOW in order to really benefit from the extreme talent that awaits you at Austin DrupalCamp!

Intermediate Drupal Training CANCELLED

Posted by dougvann on November 15, 2010 at 8:29pm

Hey gang,
Sorry, but we only had two sign-ups as of today so the class has been cancelled.
I've been to 12 DrupalCamps this year and I was only going to make this one if the Intermediate class fees covered the trip out, which it did not.
I'll likely try again next year with some better pre-planning and more promotion.
I've offered 30min of free training via screen-sharing to those who registered and I hope they take advantage of it!
Enjoy Austin Drupal Camp without me! You have one heck of a line up and even if you don't have the basics down you can really pick up a lot just by emerging yourself in it all!

Thank you,

You were missed!

But we still had one heckuva good DrupalCamp.

Looking forward to having you do some precamp intermediate training, and hoping I won't need it by then!

How do we arrange for the 30 min of free training via screen sharing?

Some slides are on Slideshare

Posted by equintanilla on November 22, 2010 at 5:12pm

Hi,

Some of the slides are on Slideshare and I would take a look at the #drupalatx Twitter stream to see where everyone placed their slides.

From @ksbrg: For all you #drupalatx folk. @levelten_tom My SlideShare presentation: Building Web Leaders with Drupal http://slidesha.re/9DuIvM

Hope that helps!

But I don't use twitter ...

Posted by ShadowCaster on November 22, 2010 at 10:10pm

... and I'm not intending to start. Can there be another solution?

You don't actually have to

Posted by WilliamHall on November 22, 2010 at 10:16pm

You don't actually have to "use" twitter - You can still check the tag without signing up.

My. D.O. account is "WillHall"

They'll be linked on the session pages

Posted by todd nienkerk on November 22, 2010 at 11:08pm

We'll be asking presenters to upload their slide decks and other materials to each session page.

Video of each session will be embedded on session pages in the coming weeks.
