Hello everyone,
We have recently created a "sister group" at Drupal.org (https://groups.drupal.org/research-about-drupal-community) with the purpose of collectively gathering, analysing and discussing the findings that have been done in Academia about the Drupal community, and what can we learn as a community from them. It will also act as a meeting point for those who are interested in the study of the Drupal community, so we can put a face to the names and explore how to collaborate and coordinate. This initiative was born as part of the the BoF session at DrupalCon Amsterdam (https://amsterdam2014.drupal.org/bof/study-drupal-community-academia-wha...).
I thought this might be of interest for many of you. The first initiative consisted on the creation of a wiki page whose aim is to collect all the references to academic publications about the Drupal community. This initiative is similar to the idea of WikiPapers (http://wikipapers.referata.com/wiki/Main_Page), but focussed on publications related to the study of the Drupal community.
Thanks!
David
