I've been getting back into Omega because it seems like a fitting tool for small business sites and am going through lacing together contexts and deltas.
I find myself going back and forth between naming them after zones, sometimes after the page I'm making it for, all sorts of ways. I'm wondering if anyone has honed a good system for naming their deltas and contexts.
In my day job I'm using Zen so I lean a lot more on contexts. This is my little context system:
(tag) - I name my tags after the condition I'm using. The only exception are sidebars because in my experience it's seemed easiest to make the variation in sidebars in their own contexts and group them under a sidebar tag.
(description) - I use a little naming convention to indicate what's responding, usually naming the blocks). With the sidebar variations I put what the conditions that trigger the sidebar.
The naming convention is easier to explain by example:
Content Type (tag)
- blog (context name)
- ac: recommended content - bc: related content (description)
ac: and bc: is just my little short abbreviation for the regions the blocks are in, above, below, etc.
So this is what I've got coming from doing magazine websites in Zen on 6.
I'm interested in hearing what sort of structures you guys have figured out to juggle context with delta.
