You may have heard a lot about the DrupalCorn Camp 2012 but there is also a pre-camp Training Day that you may consider attending. Although the courses are not totally free, at 20ドル (lunch included) this is a nominal fee.
Chris Shattuck and Michael Hofmockel are executing two all day training courses that will run the day before the camp.
