Interested in Being a GSoC Contributor #66

Hi, my name is Urja, and I'm a Computer Science Engineering student at UC Irvine. I have worked extensively with Python, Java, and C++ for class, club, and personal projects. Some relevant courses I have taken are Concepts in Programming Languages and Principles of Operating Systems, and I will be taking Database Management and ML/ Data Mining next quarter.

I'm excited to contribute to Alaska's open-source community for GSoC 2026! In particular, I'm interested in the wildfire risk prediction project because I'm determined to develop software with a positive environmental impact. I have done time-series analysis for a personal project, and I look forward to applying it here as well.
