Hi everyone 👋

I’m Nikita Pandey, a B.Tech CSE(AIML) student and a passionate full-stack developer skilled in MERN stack, Python, Java, and SQL. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to Alaska’s open-source projects under GSoC 2026.

I’ve gone through the repository and previous discussions, and I’m particularly interested in your AI/ML and web-based project areas. I would be very grateful if someone could please guide me on how to get started, such as beginner-friendly issues or contribution guidelines.

Welcome @Nikitaa104. Please find the project ideas from https://github.com/uaanchorage/GSoC/ and choose a project that you are interested in. Then, you can communicate in the respective project discussion forum in GitHub.

I’ve gone through the project ideas in the repository, and I’ll pick the one BigData Analytics and Visualization Platform that best aligns with my skills and interests. I am unsure about the "BigData Analytics and Visualization Platform" project as I cannot find one listed as such in https://github.com/uaanchorage/GSoC Hopefully you will be able to find the project page successfully.
