Hello everyone,

I am Kolawole, a cybersecurity, network and code enthusiast. I am relatively new to the open source space but I am fast adapting and I am very excited to contribute to the University Of Alaska Anchorage open source project. Spent the past few weeks familiarising with L4S and DICOM endpoints hoping to use them to contribute to open source. I am familiar with Linux, Network & Network Protocols, PHP, Python, Javascript and other similar technologies.

I find the "Creating shareable 'albums' from locally stored DICOM images" project really interesting. I have a reasonable knowledge of Python and its various libraries, and I'm also comfortable with technologies like Linux and C++. I am Abhiram a sophomore at NITT, My primary domain is devOps, other than that I mainly work in backend, cybersecurity, and Blockchain. I really like the philosophy behind open source and decentralization but due to prior commitments I was not able to work on them during my first year but now I have been active in the open source community for the past 7 to 8 months, other than that right now I am actively working with my club to improve my collage tech infrastructure and building a project for a startup that's being incubated by NTU Singapore.

I'm Yash Kumar, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science at The University of British Columbia. My expertise lies in data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.

I've developed and deployed various applications, such as a CNN-Based Pneumonia Detection Web App on GCP App Engine, an iOS app for plant disease identification, and web apps for human activity recognition and breast cancer dataset analysis. I've also gained practical experience through a data science internship where I applied K-means clustering to determine centroids and DBSCAN to detect outliers in analysing transportation data.

I am new to open source and currently learning and exploring ways to contribute.I have been learning about DICOM datasets using Python libraries like pydicom. I am interested in building tools that make it easier to manage and work with medical imaging data.I have knowledge of Python, data structures and algorithms. I'm Nuwan Pradeep, a Software Engineer and Researcher with experience in .NET, React, and Blockchain (Solidity). Currently, I work as an Associate Software Engineer at TIEC (Pvt) Ltd, where I focus on RIS/PACS interoperability and healthcare data standards such as DICOM and HL7.

While I have industry experience, I am relatively new to contributing to large-scale open source projects, and I am excited to learn, collaborate, and grow through this opportunity.

Hi @pradeeban , Kausik here, I am a software engineer at Zoho Corp with experience in Python, pyQT, Java, React, SQL, Computer architecture, Data structures and algorithms, machine learning, deep learning , AI , Git. Apart from my main work, I have been working with a med tech company called Prezitec on my own interest as contributor as I am very interested in med tech , focussing on ultrasound guided needle intervention system in 2d to help them achieve high stability, availability and accuracy. I have been working with DICOM formats for them and I was introduced to GSoC very recently by a colleague. I went through the projects in Alaska, and I think Project [14] is very close to what I have been learning and implementing over the past few months.

Hello @pradeeban and everyone! Greetings from Brazil! I’m Michel Adelino, a last year semester Computer Science student, and I’m absolutely thrilled to connect with the University of Alaska GSoC community.

For the past two years, I worked as a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Application Lab at my university (Federal University of Paraíba). There, I worked with Diffusion Maps to improve Machine Learning prediction performance, and I was responsible for developing a data analysis tool to improve the performance of wheelchair athletes.

I bring a strong background in Data Science, Full Stack, and Mobile development. Recently, my main focus has been on environmental AI, specifically building end-to-end deep learning pipelines that process multi-spectral satellite imagery. I also bring hands-on full-stack development experience from a previous internship at a multinational company.

Alongside my data science work, my experience building cross-platform mobile applications and full-stack web solutions makes me eager to help build accessible, and good solutions.

I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French, and I love working in cross-cultural environments. I'm really looking forward to sharing ideas, learning from the mentors, and building impactful open-source work together! 💪

I am Dheeraj Selvam, I was looking at the exciting project ideas at Alaska University and Satellite-Imagery-Wildfire-Prediction got my attention! I believe it is an exciting project and would love to work on it.

I have expertise in Python and ML research related to satellite and communication systems, like power-map image generation for mobile signals and Mobile to Leo Sat communication using RL and couple of research papers and awards related to this work.

I am Charvi Joshi, a Computer Science student specializing in Cybersecurity. I was exploring the Alaska project ideas and the Telehealth Effectiveness and Necessity Tracker (TENeT) project caught my attention because of its real-world impact and the mix of data engineering, backend development, and geospatial visualization.
I have experience in Python, web development, databases, and Linux. I have already built a small demo that fetches Alaska health facility data from the healthsites.io API and converts it into GeoJSON for mapping, and I have submitted a proposal where I plan to work on the data ingestion pipeline, healthcare desert metric, backend API, and the Leaflet dashboard.
I am looking forward to contributing to the project and working with the team.

One issue we frequently see in Pakistan is that societies use separate systems for installment tracking, accounting, member records, and complaint management. Integrating these operations into a centralized platform can significantly reduce duplicate data entry and reporting errors.
