epdsi is a no_std, embedded-hal 1.0
driver framework for electronic paper displays — 7 driver ICs and 12 panels, from
1.54" monochrome up to a 7.3" six-colour Spectra 6.

Two things make it different from most EPD crates:

• Register-level parity with the vendor C++ references. Every controller is audited
  against GxEPD2 or the manufacturer's own driver, and the tests assert exact SPI byte
  streams — not "it didn't error".
• Verified on real hardware, not just compiled. Every supported controller has a
  working example that has actually driven a panel, across Cortex-M0+, Cortex-M33,
  RISC-V and Xtensa.

That second point is the expensive one. Every panel listed had to be bought, wired to a
carrier, and brought up against a datasheet that is usually wrong somewhere. Sponsorship
goes directly to the next one — new glass, new adapters, and the bench time to find out
which register the datasheet lied about.

The bring-up notes are published too, since the debugging is often worth more than the
driver: which symptoms are power, which are the panel's waveform, and which are actually
your code.
