Hi, I’m Gus Aragón.

I build open-source security infrastructure for AI agents, MCP servers, and software supply chain defense.

AI agents are already reading files, calling tools, using credentials, modifying code, opening network connections, and making operational decisions. Most teams are adopting them faster than they can govern them.

My work focuses on the runtime boundary: inspecting, authorizing, blocking, and auditing what agents actually do before and as they act.

I’m the founder of Oktsec, a runtime security platform for AI agents, and the creator of open-source projects including Aguara and Nanostack.

Aguara is a local-first deterministic security engine for AI agent skills, MCP servers, and dependency risk. Nanostack is an open-source AI agent workflow framework for planning, building, reviewing, securing, testing, and shipping with agents.

My work has been formally approved through leading AI cybersecurity programs, including Anthropic/Claude’s CVP and OpenAI’s Trusted Access for Cyber. I also won First Place Overall at the first Anthropic ×ばつ Kaszek hackathon in Latin America with an AI agent cybersecurity project.
