I use sync in env. OTP v.15... and all be good.
In env OTP v.17 - sync work very slow or not work, somtimes sync recompile changed files, somtimes no.

And in otp v.15 after start sync - it recompiles all sources.
in otp v.17 after start sync dono do this.
