The scanner is included in CodeRay 0.8, but it is really buggy. Currently it doesn't even handle the example files correctly.

By the way, it's not that bad actually. Just the PLEAC tests are broken for more strange syntax examples.

I can't solve this alone. Needs expert help.

Brought forward because of Clojure - we kill two birds with one stone.

We should remove it from 1.0, and add it again when it's fixed.
