Why does File contain contentEnc? #933

Hi, I just played around a bit with the code, and noticed that File has a contentEnc reference. This confuses me a bit, because I would expect that f.contentEnc == f.rootNode.contentEnc.

I initially wanted to do a PR about it, but then I thought that it is more likely that I am the dumbass that doesn't understand the code.

Is it redundant or am I stupid? If its redundant, I am happy to do a PR removing it and refactoring all its references!
