Hi all!

While we were preparing the release of a stable 2.6.0 version later this month, we had to release a fix 2.5.2 version (see changes log) and 2.6 RC2 version (see changes log) to update key dependencies impacted by CVEs.

In addition, 2.6 RC2 was upgraded to support Jakarta EE 10 including JAXB 4.0 and Servlet 6.0. They are all available in Maven Central.

Finally, we have created the 2.7 branch and started to remove deprecated extensions in a first 2.7 M1 version, with the rest of removals including Servlet extension, internal HTTP client and server coming up in a 2.7 M2 release planned later this month.

Note that moving forward, we will embed Jetty within the Restlet Core module to help provide robust HTTP connectivity by default and support advanced features such as Server-Sent Events at the Restlet API level.
