can we use a 64 bit compiler (aarch64) to compile this library ? #293

Description
We are trying to build this library using 64 bit ARM compiler (gcc 10.x.x aarch64) - we have some issues.
What is the meaning, if we succeed, to compile the lib using aarch64, instead of arm compiler, with regards the CPU itself?
(As we know the CPU is ARM-A 32 bit processor)
