tl;dr - no; I don't have the bandwidth to restart this back up & maintain it. It remains open source and if you would like to, you can take a stab at updating it & bringing it back up. Here is the message I originally posted in the Discord announcing the shutdown:

@\everyone I've decided to terminate @db8bot service on March 1st 2024 Pacific Time/UTC-8 due to rising hosting costs, increasing difficulty of fetching resources from sci-hub & libgen.is (due to their respective platforms' DDoS protection, CAPTCHAs, and a lack of time on my end to work on the project. The project source code will continue to remain open sourced on GitHub here and available for anyone to work on. I am also open to anyone to take over the project if they'd like to work on it (reach out to me via DMs). This server and the website will stay up after the bot is terminated. Finally, I want to thank everyone for supporting db8bot over the past few years. It has been an amazing experience and provided me the opportunity to learn many new things. I wouldn't be where I am today without the project.
