Is it possible to access the local models which were downloaded by LM Studio? #195

Hello, everyone.

I have not tried this myself, I don't have llama.cpp installed/enabled on my instance of the desktop app. At the same time I have LM Studio installed on my desktop for the sake of experimentation and I have a few hundred gigabytes of disk space taken by the downloaded models. If I point to the directory where LM Studio's models are stored in the desktop app settings - will it be possible to "share" the models and avoid double downloads?

Thanks

If you have developer mode on in LM Studio settings, theres a tab on the sidebar that looks like a terminal, I believe, and it'll have the start button and then after the ip/port you need to connect that to Open WebUI.

This is misunderstanding. I did not ask how to access a model running on LM Studio. My question was whether the model files can be shared between OWUI and LMS.
