I’ve been using the Monal app for some time now, but this month I’ve already received a new OMEMO key twice. I’m wondering what’s causing this. I’ve never had this happen before. I haven’t reinstalled the app or anything like that.
I got a new OMEMO fingerprint on 2026年03月03日 and again yesterday, 2026年03月13日. Now I have three fingerprints showing up. It’s not really a problem, except that my contacts keep having to verify/confirm the new fingerprint.
I’m just curious why this is happening, since it’s never occurred before and now it’s happened twice within two weeks.

The problem persists, and today it’s particularly annoying. I’ve already received three new keys today alone. Every time, my contacts have to verify the keys, and I have to resent the message because my first attempt couldn't be decrypted. What is causing this?

As long as nobody provides a logfile containing such an incident, I won't be able to fix it, sorry.
