Hi @ltmoerdani I have been enjoying your opencode vscode plugin contributions.
Thanks for your work.
If you want to grow the contributors I would recommend a quick introduction of you, especially with the ongoing supply chain attacks.
If people know who is behind, they might trust more.
Before installing it, I went sporadically through the code and asked AI to review the repo for suspicious things...
This plugin could really grow if people know who is behind it and if a physical person can be connected to it.
Also, I would like to mention which might be interesting information for you to have.

Hi @hu3bi, thanks for the kind words and the feedback. Reviewing the code before installing is the right call, particularly given the supply chain concerns you raised.
I'm Laksmana (@ltmoerdani), based in Indonesia 🇮🇩. Not a developer by trade: I'm the founder of myarchery.id, an archery sports startup. This project started because I genuinely enjoy using AI models in GitHub Copilot Chat, but I couldn't find anything in the VS Code Marketplace that let me bring my own API keys to the models I actually wanted: Z.AI, NVIDIA NIM, Xiaomi MiMo, DeepSeek, and a few others. So I built it myself, learned as I went, and the community helped it grow.
My GitHub profile is public, and my LinkedIn is linked there if you want to verify. Real person behind this.
Good point on the README. I'll make the "who's behind this" section more visible. And I'll take a look at microsoft/vscode#320339. 🙏

You should advertise here:
https://opencode.ai/discord might get more contributors.
Right now this plugin is number 1 for vscode. VSCODE added a new tag to search for BYOK providers in extensions:
tag:"language-models" opencode
Personally I don't care which extension wins as long as there is at least one good and trustworthy option.
Still, an official extension would be even nicer.
