Many times I want to highlight a cell depending on a condition to call attention to it. I can do this now, but when the row is highlighted, all the color values go away, thus I cannot see the cell color anymore.

Change the table selection color to NOT override the cell color. If we want that, we can program that into the cell color snippet ourselves.

For example, all the cells should be red indicating a state, but the selection hides this.
